Klarna are a service that takes care of your payment from end-to-end. They offer seamless payment options for more than 200,000 online stores and have over 85 million customers worldwide.
What is the Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments agreement and how does it work?
Pay Later in 3 interest-free instalments gives you the option to pay for your order a little bit later, by spreading the cost of your purchase over 3 equal payments. Great if you’re waiting for a pay day to come in!
The first instalment will be charged when you first place your order with us and instalments 2 and 3 will be scheduled 30 and 60 days later.
This will automatically be taken from a debit or credit card that you enter at checkout.
How do I know if I’m eligible for Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments?
Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments is always subject to your financial circumstances, so some checks may take place. These will not affect your credit rating. You must also be at least 18 years old to apply.
What will increase my chances of being accepted?
Klarna offer their Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments service based on a number of factors such as order value, previous purchase history and item availability. If you want to improve your chances of being offered this service, please ensure you provide your full name, correct address details and ship orders to your billing address.
All orders are accessed individually and you must be at least 18 to apply.
If you’ve had Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments before, this doesn’t mean you’ll be offered it for every order and in turn, if it is denied once, this doesn’t mean it will be denied on future orders.
Do you or Klarna run a credit search against me?
Klarna may run unrecorded enquiries or soft credit checks. These don’t affect your credit score and are only visible to you or Klarna. These will not be shared by other lenders. Fifth NYC nor Klarna have the ability to run credit searches against you that will impact your credit score.
Why was I denied Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments?
Unfortunately Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments isn’t always universally available. It can be automatically generated by algorithms but the eligibility itself is dependent on a number of factors. These include your order total, the online store, your card information, your previous order history and item availability.
You can still complete your order by using your credit or debit card at checkout.
What happens if I cancel or return my order?
As soon as Fifth NYC accepts your cancellation or return, Klarna will also cancel any future payments and/or refund any payment you’ve made. This will be reflected immediately.
What happens if I don’t pay for my order?
Payment will automatically be attempted from the debit or credit card you have submitted. If we are unable to collect this payment, Klarna will attempt this again two days later. Should this last payment fail, Klarna will then issue a statement for the full outstanding amount which is payable within 15 days.
If your payment is very late, Klarna will send follow up text messages and letters too.
Your credit score is not affected by Klarna’s Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments service, even if you fail to pay on time.
What information do I need to share when I make a purchase?
To make payments via Klarna, you will need to provide your full name, address, mobile number, email address and debit or credit card information.
Most correspondence will be sent to your email address, including payment reminders, order updates and links to your online statement.
How do I know that my payment information is safe?
Payment details are processed securely by Klarna. No information is passed or held by Fifth NYC. All your transactions will take place via secured connections, with industry standard security protocols.
Do I have to wait until the due date to make a payment?
Unfortunately there is no way to bring payments forward on the Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments service.
How do I know you have received my payment?
Klarna will send you over payment confirmation to the same email address you have used for placing your order. If you have made a payment but haven't had a payment confirmation, you can always check the status by logging into the Klarna app or visiting www.klarna.com/uk.
I've received a statement, but I've not received my order?
If your payment due date is here and your order hasn’t arrived, do check in with Fifth NYC first to find out the status of your delivery. You can also contact the Klarna customer service team and request for your date for payment to be postponed or put on hold until your jewellery arrives.
How long will it take to receive my refund?
As soon as Fifth NYC registers your cancellation or your return, the refund will be processed within 5–7 business days.
How will I be refunded?
Refunds will always be returned to the same card they were purchased on. If you haven’t paid the statement yet, then this refund will be deducted from the statement or cancelled completely.
I haven’t received an email with my statement/payment information.
Don’t worry! If you don’t have your statement to hand, you can always find this through the Klarna app or at www.klarna.com/uk. This is where you will find all of your orders and be able to make payments.
